Forensic Alcohol Analyst, RCMP Forensic Laboratory Vancouver, 1984 – 2015

As an Expert Forensic Alcohol Witness, testified hundreds of times at all levels of court throughout Western and Northern Canada in impaired driving, sex assault and murder trials
Authored hundreds of forensic alcohol reports. Taught thousands of police officers in breathtesting courses related to the operation and calibration of Breathalyzer, BAC Datamaster C, Intox EC/IR II, Alert, Alcolmeter SL-2, Alco-sensor IV DWF, and Alco-sensor FST instruments
Provided scientific and technical information and advice to police organizations, Crown counsel, and government agencies
Other duties included: analysis of body fluids for alcohol and other volatiles, preparation of forensic laboratory reports, review of scientific literature pertaining to alcohol, presentation of evidence in all levels of court, instruction of police officers in the use of breath test instruments, creation of course training materials and instruction manuals, scientific presentations to police, Crown counsel, and judges
